Mahindra has pulled the plug on the 5-seater variants of its XUV700, and the flagship ICE SUV is now only available in 6- and 7-seater layouts. As a result, the Mahindra XUV700 price now starts at Rs 14.49 lakh, ex-showroom, instead of Rs 13.99 lakh.

XUV700 lineup trimmed by 15 variants, 43 on sale now
With the discontinuation of the above trims, the Mahindra XUV700 is currently on sale in 43 variants, including the recently launched Ebony Edition. As of May 5, 2025, the ex-showroom price starts at Rs 14.49 lakh for the base-spec MX petrol manual. The XUV700 comes with 2.0-litre turbo petrol (200hp, 380Nm) and 2.2-litre diesel (two tunes: 155hp, 360Nm, and 185hp, 420-450Nm) engine options, both of which can be paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox. An AWD system on the XUV700 is offered with the diesel-automatic powertrain only.

2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift launch confirmed
To borrow design cues from Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e EVs
The XUV700 facelift (codenamed W616), set for launch next year, will get design changes inspired by Mahindra’s new electric models, the BE 6 and XUV 9e. Expect sharper styling with features like connected LED headlights, a new grille and squared-off wheel cladding. Inside, it may also get a complete overhaul along with more standard features; no mechanical changes are expected. The Mahindra Thar facelift is also slated for launch in 2026.
