    As 2019 draws to a close, automakers have started making space for their 2020 models by offering large benefits and year-end discounts on their 2019 model year units to push sales. This, paired with the upcoming BS6 deadline, has resulted in a double whammy of discounts on new cars and SUVs in almost every segment. We have compiled a list of models offered with the highest benefits and discounts below.

    Jaguar F-Pace
    Base Price: Rs

    Up to Rs 14 lakh off
    The F-Pace SUV feels like a true Jaguar. It has a well-sorted chassis and a decent engine line-up. Discounts between Rs 12-14 lakh make this an even sweeter proposition.

    Audi Q7
    Base Price: Rs 68.99 lakh
    Up to Rs 12 lakh off
    A mid-cycle refresh next year will see the Q7 get better interior bits, tweaked front and rear styling and new engine options too. The outgoing car can be had for around Rs 12 lakh less.

    BMW 620D GT
    Base Price: Rs 64.40 lakh
    Up to Rs 12 lakh off
    The entry-level 6 Series GT is roomy, luxurious and also nice to drive. The 620d GT is now being offered at discounts and benefits of Rs 12 lakh at most outlets across India.

    Mercedes-Benz E-class
    Base Price: Rs 58.80 lakh
    Up to Rs 9 lakh off
    The E-class is the most comfortable sedan in its segment, thanks to its extended wheelbase. It gets BS6-compliant engine options and is now on offer with discounts going up to Rs 9 lakh.

    Volkswagen Tiguan
    Base Price: Rs 28.14 lakh
    Up to Rs 6 lakh off
    The Tiguan is Volkswagen’s answer to the Honda CR-V and the Hyundai Tucson. It's a capable SUV that’s also decently loaded. Discounts add up to around Rs 6 lakh, making it a good-value buy.

    Honda’s flagship SUV - the CR-V, is well-turned out, spacious, and the diesel gets a third row of seats. The engine is mated to a 9-speed auto gearbox. Discounts of Rs 5.5 lakh are available.

    Skoda Superb
    Base Price: Rs 25.99 lakh
    Up to Rs 3.5 lakh off
    The Skoda Superb offers impressive levels of luxury, space and comfort. With a facelift due in 2020, the current Superb is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 3.5 lakh

    Tata Hexa
    Base Price: Rs 13.25 lakh
    Up to RS 2.3 lakh off
    Tata’s large crossover - the Hexa, is most likely to be taken off the shelves soon. It's big – in both size and space – and offers a well-sorted drive. It can be had with benefits of up to Rs 2.3 lakh.

    Jeep Compass
    Base Price: Rs 15.60 lakh
    Up to Rs 2.1 lakh off
    The Compass is available with two engine options. Four-wheel-drive variants offer good off-road capabilities. Buyers can avail benefits worth up to Rs 2.1 lakh on this capable SUV.

    Volkswagen Ameo diesel
    Base Price: Rs 7.11 lakh
    Up to Rs 1.6 lakh off
    The Ameo will exit the Indian market later this year. The diesel, with the option of the smooth DSG-automatic, is a great pick; and is now available with benefits of up to Rs 1.6 lakh.

    Renault Duster diesel
    Base Price: Rs 9.30 lakh
    Up to Rs 1.5 lakh off
    Post-April 2020, the Duster will be sold as a petrol model. The outgoing 1.5-litre diesel engine comes in two states of tune. If you can get your hands on one, the AWD Duster is the model to go for.

    Maruti Suzuki Ciaz diesel
    Base Price: Rs 9.19 lakh
    Up to Rs 1.5 lakh off
    The Ciaz will lose its diesel engine once the BS6 norms come into effect. The car appeals to those looking for a well-equipped and frugal diesel sedan. Benefits of around Rs 1.5 lakh are on offer.
