The 2025 Bolero Neo carries over the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder mHawk 100 diesel engine, which produces 100hp and 260Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra claims to have improved the ride quality and handling stability with the new suspension upgrades and brake dynamics.

While the Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza are positioned as sub-4-metre rivals, the Bolero Neo’s body-on-frame rear-wheel-drive chassis makes it a unique, rugged offering, serving as an accessible step up from the workhorse utility segment.
