Hyundai recorded the best-ever sales of the Venue in FY2024 (April 2023 to March 2024), a 7 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase. However, in FY2025, sales fell by 7 percent. Interestingly, rate of sales decline for the Venue slowed down in FY26 mainly due to the introduction of the new-generation model in November. In 2026, a total of 11,637 units have been sold as of May 31, a 23 percent YoY increase.

The first-gen Venue was launched in 2019, and a facelift was introduced in 2022.

Since its launch in May 2019, the Venue accounted for 36 percent of Hyundai’s total UV sales as of May 31, 2026. The larger Creta was, however, Hyundai’s best-selling UV in India, with a total of 10,60,664 units and 48 percent share in the same May 2019 to May 2026 period.

Notably, the Venue is still behind the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon in the segment in terms of sales, as both compact SUVs have crossed 14.5 lakh units and 10.5 lakh units, respectively.
