BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2 percent across its BMW and MINI model range, effective July 1, 2026. The revision will apply to both locally produced vehicles and completely built-up units (CBUs). BMW said the increase is being implemented due to the depreciation of the rupee and rising logistics costs.

Affected vehicles include locally built models such as the 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase and X1, as well as imported offerings like the M4, M5 and i7. MINI's India line-up, including the Cooper and Countryman range, will also be subject to the price increase. BMW India Financial Services will continue to provide financing solutions aimed at easing the impact of the price increase.

Second BMW price hike this year

This is BMW Group India's second price increase in 2026. In March, the company announced a similar hike of up to 2 percent, which came into effect from April 1. At the time, BMW cited rising input costs, higher logistics expenses and currency fluctuations as key reasons behind the revision.

Luxury carmakers remain particularly exposed to exchange-rate fluctuations due to their reliance on imported components and completely built-up units. Several manufacturers have revised prices in recent months as input and logistics costs continue to rise.
