With sales continuing to remain in a slump for the ninth consecutive month, Honda has lined up lucrative benefits and discounts on its range to boost sales. Honda dealerships across the country are offering discounts and benefits, ranging from accessories to extended warranties, on multiple models. Here is a look at the deals you can get.
Honda CR-V
Save up to Rs 4 lakh
Honda’s flagship SUV in India is being offered with cash discounts of Rs 4 lakh on all diesel variants. The discounts can be had on examples from the 2018 model year, as well as on the current model year, subject to availability. The diesel CR-V is powered by Honda’s 120hp/300Nm 1.6-litre diesel engine – shared with the new Civic – and paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It can be had as a two-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive. The petrol Honda CR-V makes use of a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated unit that’s good for 154hp and 189Nm and is paired with a CVT gearbox and two-wheel drive. The diesel, additionally, is the only model of the two to get a seven-seat layout.
Honda BR-V
Save up to Rs 1.15 lakh
Honda’s seven-seat rival to the Hyundai Creta, the BR-V shares its engines with the City mid-sized sedan. Offered with a choice of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, the Honda BR-V can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.15 lakh, including cash discounts, additional accessories and exchange bonus across all variants.
Honda Civic
Save up to Rs 80,000
Launched earlier in the year, the new Honda Civic can be had with either a 1.8-litre petrol or a 1.6-litre diesel engine. The petrol motor can be had solely with a CVT gearbox, with the diesel offered with a 6-speed manual unit. A rival to the Hyundai Elantra and Skoda Octavia, the Civic is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 80,000 on the diesel and base petrol trims.
Honda City
Save up to Rs 67,000
Honda’s mid-sized sedan has long been a popular model in the brand’s line-up. A rival to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna, the City can be had with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 67,000 across all trim levels. As with the BR-V, the Honda City is offered with the choice of a 119hp 1.5-litre petrol and a 100hp 1.5-litre diesel engine. While the petrol unit can be had with either a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox, the diesel gets paired to a 6-speed manual.
Honda Jazz
Save up to Rs 55,000
Honda’s premium hatchback rivals the likes of the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the new Toyota Glanza. The Honda Jazz is big on space and comfort, and can be had with either a 90hp 1.2-litre petrol or a 100hp 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol motor is offered with the choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox, with the diesel unit offered with a sole 6-speed manual. Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs 55,000 across all variants of the Jazz.
Honda WR-V
Save up to Rs 50,000
The crossover sibling to the Jazz, the Honda WR-V shares its engine and gearbox options with the former, though featuring a heavily revised front end and additional crossover design cues, such as body cladding and a raised ride height. However, unlike the Jazz, the WR-V petrol does not get a CVT gearbox option. Honda’s cross hatchback is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 50,000 across all trim levels for the month of August.
Honda Amaze
Save up to Rs 47,000
It was just last year when the new Honda Amaze was launched and the car went on to become a strong seller for the brand. A rival to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Volkswagen Ameo, the Amaze is available with the choice of a 90hp 1.2-litre petrol that’s paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, or a 1.5-litre diesel engine in two states of tune – 100hp/200Nm and 80hp/160Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox, respectively. Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs 47,000, including free extended warranty, on the standard Amaze, with the limited-run Ace Edition being offered with discounts of up to Rs 35,000.
