Bajaj Pulsar 125 specifications
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the smallest motorcycle in Bajaj's Classic Pulsar line-up, but shares its chassis and bodywork with the larger Pulsar 150. This shared underpinning is why Autocar India's road test rates it as the sportiest motorcycle in its segment barring the costlier KTM 125 Duke. Power comes from a single 124.4cc engine producing 11.8hp, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox across every model. Kerb weight stands at 140kg, heavier than its nearest rivals.
Braking hardware includes a front disc brake with combi-braking system (CBS) as standard on every variant, though the rear brake remains a drum unit across the range. Suspension at the rear uses 5-step adjustable shocks. Seat height is set at 790mm, and the bike carries an 11.5-litre fuel tank with a 2.5-litre reserve, enough for a top speed of 100kph.
On the equipment front, the Pulsar 125 gets a halogen headlamp, an LED tail lamp, and a semi-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The one area Autocar India flagged as a shortcoming is tyre grip, with the factory-fitted tyres not inspiring much confidence in corners despite the chassis' sporty intent.
