Close behind are four hatchbacks, two multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), and a single sedan. Interestingly though, the country's highest-selling vehicle isn't an SUV. Maruti Suzuki dominates the chart with 10 models spanning all major body styles mentioned above, accounting for a commanding 50 percent of the entire list.
