The Ioniq 5 EV is Hyundai’s most expensive offering in India, starting from Rs 46.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a choice of either an Obsidian Black interior or a Dark Pebble Grey interior. The cabin looks minimalist overall, with the absence of a centre tunnel between the front passengers maximising footspace. There’s also a two-spoke steering wheel with ‘H’ branding in Morse code, physical buttons, and a column-mounted gear lever. A sliding centre console with plenty of cubbyholes allows passengers from both rows to access it easily. The very comfortable powered front seats come with heating, ventilation, ottomans and memory. The rear seats can recline and also come with heating and memory. While space at the back is adequate with good seat comfort, the battery below down cause occupants to sit in a knees-up position. Other features include a panoramic fixed glass roof, boss-mode for the front passenger seat, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 360-degree parking camera, drive modes, dual-zone climate control, and a powered tailgate.
