
This is the first time the CS version of the M2 has been brought to India.

It gets a new grille that allows for better cooling, and it sit 8mm lower to the ground than the standard M2.

The carbon fiber boot lid features a very prominent ducktail spoiler.

The gold-finished forged alloy wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear) are a signature CS design trait.

The dashboard largely remains unchanged, but a lot of the interior is now finished in carbon fiber.

The carbon fiber bucket seats are electrically operated and get heating function, but no ventilation.

Entire centre console is finished in carbon fiber, and there are also CS badges on the seats, door sills and door pads.

It is powered by a 530hp, 650Nm, 3.0-litre straight-six turbo petrol engine

The M2 CS will be available in very limited numbers in India.

The BMW M2 CS is a more hardcore, track-focused version of the standard M2, and it has arrived here in India in very limited numbers. It’s about 30kgs lighter than the regular M2 that’s courtesy of a carbon fiber roof and bot lid. It also gets carbon fiber finishes for the outside rearview mirrors and on the dashboard and centre console on the inside. Powering the M2 CS is a 3.0-litre, straight-six turbocharged petrol engine that produces 530hp and 650Nm of torque – up from 480hp and 600Nm on the standard M2. It also sits 8mm lower to the ground, gets M-specific tuning for the springs, dampers and chassis control systems and also an M-specific rear sport differential. Prices are expected to range around the Rs 1.7 crore mark (ex-showroom), and it will be available in very limited numbers.
