The TVS Raider came out in 2021, and ever since then, it has proven to be a hit for the Hosur-based bikemaker. With its combination of youthful, sharp style, a peppy yet frugal engine and an affordable price tag, the Raider ticks all the necessary boxes. Here, we’ll answer all the pressing questions commonly asked about the Raider. 

What is the mileage of the TVS Raider?

In our instrumented tests, the TVS Raider managed 57.1kpl in the city and 61.9kpl out on the highway. The Raider comes with start/stop tech, which aids fuel economy in city traffic. Powering the Raider is a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 11.4hp and 11.2Nm of torque, and this mill is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

How many colours are available on the TVS Raider?

TVS offers you different colours to choose from, depending on the Raider variant you choose. The base drum and single-seat disc variants are available only in black and red, while the split-seat variant can be had in red, black, purple, blue and yellow. The iGO variant can be had in 2 dual-tone shades – grey/red and black/red, and the top SX variant comes in black, blue and yellow. TVS also offers the Raider in a Super Squad Edition, which comes with the graphics of either Black Panther or Iron Man.

Raider is the only 125cc bike in India to come with a colour TFT display.

The TVS Raider comes with a colour LCD screen on all variants except the top SX, which ships with a colour TFT display. Additionally, it comes with TVS’ start/stop system, which turns the engine off once it’s left idle for a few seconds, helping you conserve fuel. As of now, no variant of the TVS Raider comes with ABS, but with the government’s new regulation mandating ABS on all new two-wheelers starting in 2026, expect that to change.

The TVS Raider has a broad spread of variants, which allows it to cater to every niche of the 125cc sporty commuter class. The Raider range starts with the Drum variant (Rs 87,010), followed by the Single Seat variant (Rs 93,500), the Split Seat and iGO variants (Rs 97,850), the Super Squad Edition (Rs 99,100) and, finally, the top SX model (Rs 1.02 lakh).
