The 2026 Renault Duster has been launched in India as the newest midsize SUV, with prices starting from Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In its segment, one of its key rivals is the Tata Sierra, which is also one of the newer offerings. The Sierra has created a lot of buzz in the market, mainly due to its design and its loaded feature suite. While the length of both midsize SUVs is similar, the Tata Sierra is 28mm wider, 56mm taller and has a 73mm longer wheelbase than the Duster. The Renault SUV, on the other hand, has a slightly better ground clearance and offers 78 litres of additional boot space.

The Tata SUV also gets more speakers, a rear sunshade, and memory and welcome functions on the driver’s seat, all of which are missing on the flagship Renault offering. The Duster, on the other hand, gets a powered co-driver seat, which is not offered with the Sierra.
