The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is the brand’s smallest and most affordable EV. It is a direct adaptation of the ICE-powered XUV 3XO, and is effectively a replacement of the XUV400. Mahindra is offering the XUV 3XO EV with a single battery option, two trims and a features set identical to its ICE counterpart. So, if you are in the market for a compact electric SUV, here’s everything you need to know about the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.

What is the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV price?

The XUV 3XO EV’s variant line-up is pretty simple. There are just two trims on offer: the base AX5 trim is priced at Rs 13.89 lakh, while the top-spec AX7L is priced at Rs 14.96 lakh, both ex-showroom, Delhi. Customers, however, will have to pay an additional Rs 50,000 for a 7.2kW AC charger.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: All your questions answered

The XUV 3XO comes with just one battery option – a 39.4kWh unit – which has been carried over unchanged from the erstwhile XUV400. It returns an ARAI-claimed range of 351km, but in real-world conditions, Mahindra says the XUV 3XO EV should be good for about 285km on a single charge. For reference, Mahindra’s claimed range is lesser than the Nexon EV LR’s claimed range of 489km. The battery powers a front-axle mounted motor producing 150hp and 310Nm.

How long does it take to charge the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV?

Using the 7.2kW AC charger, the battery can be topped up from 0-100 percent in a claimed 6.5 hours. However, using a 50kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0-80 percent in 50 minutes.

How different is the XUV 3XO EV from its ICE counterpart?

The powertrain aside, both the EV and ICE versions are essentially the same.
