I recently booked the 2018 Swift VXi. However, after I took a test drive, I wasn’t happy with the OEM music system’s sound quality. It has two front speakers and two rear ones (no tweeters). I want a better sound quality. Should I add a sub-woofer or an amplifier? My budget is Rs 10,000.

AAA Along with a speaker upgrade, an amplifier is recommended. It boosts output signal from an audio system to the point where it can power speakers or subwoofer. We recommend the Sony Xplod XM-N1004 4-channel amplifier (for around Rs 7,000, including wiring and fixing). Good quality Sony/JBL/Rockford Fosgate speakers (under Rs 5,000) can provide better output than stock ones.
