Suggest a good automatic car petrol within 6 lakh.
Unfortunately, you don't have too many automatic options within Rs 6 lakh (on-road). Your options are Maruti Alto, Maruti S-Presso, Renault Kwid, and thanks to some on-going discounts, you could even manage to get a Celerio VXi AMT, which is the nicest and most premium option among the ones listed.

Unfortunately, given your tight budget of Rs 6 lakh, you don't have too many options. Choose between the Maruti Alto and the Maruti S-Presso, both of which come with the same 1-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. Both are also fairly similar in terms of fuel efficiency, with the Alto returning a claimed 24.90kpl while the S-presso is said to do a marginally higher 25.3kpl.
Maruti Alto AT prices range between Rs 5.53 lakh to Rs 6.07 lakh (on-road Delhi), while S-presso automatic prices range between Rs 5.31 lakh and Rs 5.85 lakh (on-road Delhi).
Alternatively, dealers will be offering discounts on models like the Maruti Celerio and Renault Kwid, so you could even consider those.

I want to buy an automatic car for my wife, who is a learner. Please advise between the Renault Kwid/Kwid Climber and the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
If she is a learner and a new driver, it will be better to go for the AMT version. The Renault Kwid Climber is a better choice than the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10. The Kwid is more spacious, has a bigger boot, and is more comfortable.
The Kwid Climber is also more feature-rich and gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear parking camera.

My budget is around Rs 3 lakh, and I am looking for a family hatchback primarily for city commuting, for a family of four. Most of the options I am finding have been driven over 1,00,000 km and are usually second or third owner cars. My preference is for a Hyundai Eon or i10, but I am not getting a good deal. What should I ideally check while buying? Also, the car should be registered in 2016 or later.
You can check out the pre-owned cars at Spinny. For your Rs 3 lakh budget, you should find models like a Renault Kwid and Maruti Suzuki Celerio that would meet your mileage and 'build year' criteria.
You could also consider looking at older cars, as these are all checked and tested and come with a warranty. Moreover, while they may be older in age, you should be able to find a Hyundai Eon or i10 with lower mileage and a single-owner driven.
Also, remember that when buying used, it all dependent on stock, which changes almost daily, so wait a while and keep checking for cars until you find the one that you are happy with.

Please suggest an AMT version of a used car under ₹3 lakh. It can be any small car.
The Renault Kwid would be a good option for you. As far as AMTs go, the Kwid's gearbox does the job, but the car itself will feel like a bit of an upgrade over your current Maruti Alto. The Kwid has a few SUV-like design traits, the ground clearance is good, as is the ride, and you will get a version with an in-built touchscreen too.
Bear in mind, though, that the gear selector on the AMT Kwid is a rotary dial and not a traditional gear lever, and this may feel odd to begin with. When buying used, make sure you buy from a reputed reseller for extra peace of mind.

I currently own a Kia Sonet GT+ DCT, which my wife uses on weekdays for a 30 km round-trip in bumper-to-bumper Chennai traffic. She finds the Sonet increasingly cumbersome to park, especially on narrow lanes near her office. We are looking for an automatic car within ₹6 lakh on-road for city use. Priorities are an automatic gearbox, excellent all-around visibility, hill-hold assist, easy parking, and good mileage. Please suggest suitable options.
At your budget of Rs 6 lakh, on road, only two options fit the bill, which are the Renault Kwid and the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. Both come equipped with 1.0 petrol engines, AMT gearboxes and hill-hold assist on the automatic variants. Of the two, the S-Presso edges ahead for your requirements, as it offers better value for money, slightly better visibility, especially while reversing, and slightly better mileage overall. However, the differences are marginal, so it really comes down to your preference. Alternatively, you could also consider buying a more premium used hatchback within the same budget, for which there are several great options on spinny.com.
