Hyundai i20 price in Sambhal
On-road in Sambhal, the base model 1.2 Petrol Era MT starts at 6.45 lakh and the top model 1.0 Turbo Petrol N-Line N8 DCT reaches 13.27 lakh. The 1.2 Petrol Sportz IVT sits between the two at 9.80 lakh.
If you are financing the car, a loan of 5,80,000 on the base model 1.2 Petrol Era MT means an EMI of 9,332 a month. Stepping up to the top model 1.0 Turbo Petrol N-Line N8 DCT raises that to 19,146 on a loan of 11,90,000.
Why prices change from the base model to the top model:
The base model 1.2 Petrol Era MT uses the 1197cc petrol with a manual gearbox, while the top model 1.0 Turbo Petrol N-Line N8 DCT pairs the 998cc turbo with the dual-clutch automatic.
Moving to the turbo engine costs more than moving up a variant level does.
Three gearboxes are offered across the range, and both automatics cost more than the manual.
The 10.25-inch touchscreen, the Bose sound system and the built-in dashcam sit near the top of the range.
The electric sunroof and wireless charging appear part way up rather than at the bottom.
Registration, road tax and insurance are added to the ex-showroom figure, and how much they add depends on the state you buy in. That is why the same variant costs more in one city than another.

Hyundai i20 FAQs
Considering a 10 percent down payment and 7-year loan tenure, the i20 EMI starts at Rs 9,493 in Delhi.
The i20 Sportz trim offers good value for money and pack a good mix of features, including 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sunroof, and more. The i20 Sportz offers the choice between manual and CVT options with the 1.2-litre petrol engine
Questions you may find useful
I am looking for a good B2-segment car. My requirements are that the mid variant should cost less than Rs. 10 lakh on-road in Bangalore, with a 70:30 city-to-highway driving ratio. I am looking for decent fuel economy of around 13-15 kmpl in the city and 18-20 kmpl on the highway, along with a manual transmission and a 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine. Currently, I’m confused between the Hyundai i20 Sportz and the third-generation Honda Amaze.
Between your two picks, the Honda Amaze is the better fit. Your requirements are very clear: a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine, manual transmission, good fuel efficiency and a budget of under Rs 10 lakh on-road in Bangalore. The Amaze's 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine is smooth, refined and reliable, and Honda’s long-term ownership reputation is excellent. The Amaze also offers a comfortable ride, a spacious cabin and a large boot, making it a practical choice for both city and highway use. Your 70:30 city-to-highway split means comfort and efficiency matter more than outright performance, and the Amaze delivers well on both fronts. The Hyundai i20 is a good car, but the 1.2-litre engine is not as efficient or refined as the Honda’s, and the i20’s higher variants can push the budget. Overall, the Amaze is the more sensible and satisfying long-term choice for your requirements.
I already have 2 cars including Celerio automatic and i20 diesel. My family needs a six-seater car and budget is not a problem but we want a car for driving within the city and in this case, parking is the problem. I drive less than 10,000 kilometer annually. I drive with all family members mostly within the city and my entire family is shorter than 5 feet 3 inches. I am thinking of having an i20 for highway riding as four of us usually go out. I am planning to buy Triber turbo for 6 family members within the city and for occasional highway trips rather than buying costly cars like Clavis or HyCross.
Your thinking is absolutely on the right track. Given your usage of less than 10,000 km a year, predominantly city driving with all six on board, and the fact that your family is on the shorter side, the Renault Triber Turbo is actually a very sensible choice. It is compact, easy to park and manoeuvre in the city, and the turbo petrol engine gives it enough punch for occasional highway runs. The sliding second row and flexible seating make it genuinely usable as a six-seater for shorter adults, and it will be far easier to live with in tight parking situations than something like a Clavis or HyCross. The Clavis and HyCross are excellent cars, but they are significantly larger and more expensive, and given your usage pattern, you are unlikely to see the value in that extra spend. Keeping the i20 diesel for highway runs with four people is also a smart move, as it is more comfortable and efficient for longer journeys.
I am looking for a car with a budget below Rs 10 lakh. My usage will be mostly on highways, with a 500-600 km trip to my native place and back from Bangalore approximately once every two months. I don’t need the car much for daily city commuting, as my office is nearby. I have shortlisted the Maruti Swift, Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20. Considering my usage, I would like to know which car would be the best overall, especially in terms of: Highway comfort and stability Low body roll Low driver/passenger fatigue on long journeys Comfortable suspension and seats Highway performance and overtaking ability Safety and build quality Fuel efficiency Ease of driving for a beginner If there are any other cars under Rs 10 lakh that you think would suit my requirements better, please suggest those as well. I would like to keep them in consideration.
For your usage pattern, the Maruti Baleno or Toyota Glanza would be the most sensible choices. Both cars are essentially the same underneath, so the decision comes down to dealership experience and after-sales support in your area. The Baleno/Glanza offer a more spacious cabin than the Maruti Suzuki Swift, making them better suited to long-distance highway runs, and now get the same 3-cylinder engine too - the Toyota Glanza facelift is soon to launch. The suspension is well-tuned for Indian roads, and the seats are comfortable enough for extended journeys, which will help reduce fatigue on your 500-600 km trips. The Hyundai i20 is also a strong contender, with a more premium interior and a slightly more planted feel at higher speeds. However, the Baleno/Glanza has a more spacious rear seat and better fuel efficiency, which makes it a more practical choice for your requirements. In terms of safety, all three cars offer similar levels of equipment, but this Hyundai Car feels slightly more solidly built. If you are open to considering other options, the Tata Altroz is worth a look. It has a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, a solid build, and good highway stability. And if you stretch your budget slightly, you can get the diesel engine, which will be hugely beneficial on the highway in terms of performance and mileage, and is also better than the Altroz's own petrol engine. It's worth noting that all the hatchbacks you've shortlisted use naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engines, which, though adequate, might feel lacking out on the highway, where you will do most of your driving. Thus, we would also recommend checking out some turbo-petrol options that fall in your price range, such as the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Renault Triber, Hyundai i20 N-Line and Tata Punch, which all meet your needs well.
I’m looking to buy a car for a first-time woman driver who will primarily be driving in the city. I’m considering the Maruti Swift ZXi+ AGS and Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus AT. She prefers an upright seating position and the SUV stance, which makes the Kylaq appealing, but I’m not sure which of the two would be easier to drive, especially for a new driver. I already own an i20 MT, so I’m also wondering how the Swift and Kylaq would compare in terms of ease of driving and overall city usability.
Go for the Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus AT. Since she prefers an upright seating position and an SUV stance, the Kylaq is the better fit. The higher seating position gives a better view of the road, which is reassuring for a first-time driver, and the SUV-like stance makes it easier to judge the car’s corners in traffic. The 6-speed torque converter automatic is smooth and predictable, making city driving stress-free, but there is turbo lag which needs getting used to. Aside from that, the Kyalq is a good choice, compact enough to be easy to park and manoeuvre, while still feeling more substantial and confidence-inspiring than a hatchback. The Maruti Suzuki Swift ZXI+ AMT is a great city car and very easy to drive, but the AGS (AMT) gearbox is not as smooth as the Kylaq’s torque converter automatic, especially in stop-start traffic. Since you already own an Hyundai i20, the Swift would feel like a similar experience, whereas the Kylaq offers a genuinely different and more confidence-inspiring driving position. The Kylaq is the better long-term choice for her needs.
I am a car enthusiast and love driving cars with great tech, music systems, and features. I currently drive a Honda Jazz Diesel V variant, which I have owned since October 2015. The car has clocked close to 1.5 lakh km. Due to restrictions in Delhi/NCR on diesel vehicles that are more than 10 years old, I have no choice but to sell the car, even though it is still in good condition, thanks to Honda’s bulletproof reliability. I am looking to replace it with a petrol car within a budget of Rs. 13-14 lakh on-road in UP. I have shortlisted the Hyundai i20 N Line N8 DCT. Is this a good choice, or are there any other equivalent options I should consider?
Given that you are a car enthusiast and are coming from a Jazz Diesel V, the i20 N Line N8 DCT is a very good fit. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol produces 120hp and 172Nm, and the N Line gets the sportier suspension, steering and styling that make it more engaging than the regular i20. It also gives you the technology and equipment you are looking for, including the 10.25-inch touchscreen, Bose audio system, wireless charging and a built-in dashcam. The main alternatives are the Skoda Kylaq 1.0 TSI AT and Toyota Taisor or Maruti Suzuki Fronx 1.0 turbo AT. The Kylaq is the more practical choice, with SUV proportions, more ground clearance and a smoother six-speed torque converter automatic. It also has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. However, it does not have quite the same enthusiast appeal or feature-rich cabin as the N Line. The Taisor or the Fronx are also worth a test drive if you want a compact crossover with a punchy turbo engine and a conventional automatic, but the i20 N Line feels more special from behind the wheel.
