The DBX is Aston Martin’s first-ever SUV, and it matches other super-SUVs in terms of performance, but also offers you the bespoke luxury that you’d expect from an Aston. Sharing its powertrain with the DB11 and Vantage, the DBX gets a Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine under its hood that produces 550hp and 700Nm of torque in standard guise. The exterior styling in flamboyant and classic Aston, beautifully reimagined for an SUV, as is the interior design. A lot of the tech, however, is sourced from Mercedes, including the infotainment software. The DBX in its sportier 707 spec is currently the most powerful luxury SUV in the world.
