Volkswagen India has launched Track Day Experiences, also known as VWe (or Volkswagen Experiences). The German automaker is calling this an experiential platform aimed at bringing owners and enthusiasts closer to VW by way of structured driving programmes, driver development activities and community events. The inaugural edition will be held at Coimbatore’s CoASTT facility over a period of two days (October 10-11, 2026).

What will the Volkswagen Track Day Experiences offer?
Attendees can participate in autocross, slalom, off-roading and go-karting sessions
The two days will see participants being able to partake in a mix of on-track and off-track activities, designed for drivers of varying skill levels. The Volkswagen Track Day Experiences will include lead-and-follow sessions, autocross challenges, slalom exercises, a dedicated off-road obstacle course, go-karting and also vehicle handling demonstrations – all carefully under instructions from experts. The main circuit measures 3.8km and has 14 turns, while the registration cost per participant is Rs 2,500.
More than a showcase of performance, Volkswagen says that the format is designed to let owners build confidence and get an in-depth understanding of their car's dynamics. VWe will also have owners participating in technical masterclasses, networking sessions with other participants and various lifestyle activities. The event will offer attendees dedicated hospitality areas and family-friendly experiences, apart from interactive brand engagement zones and a recognition segment celebrating individual owner stories and achievements.

The inaugural edition of the Volkswagen Track Day Experiences is meant to bring together owners of the brand’s performance-focused models sold in India. This not includes everyday performance variants such as the Virtus GT and Taigun GT, but also the more serious performance offerings like the Tiguan R-Line, Tayron R-Line and Golf GTI.
This event is meant to act as an opening chapter for Volkswagen’s larger experiential strategy in India. According to VW India, this exercise is intended to keep customers engaged with the brand beyond the point of purchase by way of curated driving programmes and various other ownership experiences.
