New car sales have been seeing a continuous decline since a few months and in a bid to counter that, manufacturers and new car dealers are offering multiple discounts and freebies to attract new car buyers. This festive season, every car (except the XL6) that retails out of Maruti’s Nexa outlets comes with significant benefits and discounts, irrespective of the variant.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno
Save up to Rs 85,000
Maruti Suzuki Nexa dealers are currently aiming to clear leftover BS4 Baleno petrol stocks, with the model getting very attractive discounts and benefits of around Rs 65,000 at most locations. The Baleno, now also comes with a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. The Baleno RS, which is powered by a BS4-compliant 102hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, is now being offered with a discount of a whopping Rs 85,000. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki is also offering a 5-year extended warranty on all Baleno variants, effective September 1, 2019.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Save up to Rs 1.3 lakh
The S-Cross is available with just one engine-gearbox option – a 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Potential new S-Cross buyers can now get benefits of up to a whopping Rs 1.3 lakh on some variants, depending on unsold inventory. Maruti will soon add a new petrol engine option on the S-Cross – the same BS6-compliant 1.5-litre (K15B) powerplant that is also available on the Ertiga and the Ciaz. The S-Cross diesel won’t be on sale April 1, 2020, onwards.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Save up to Rs 95,000
Maruti’s midsize sedan is available with three engine options – a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol with Smart Hybrid tech, a 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel with the same mild-hybrid technology, and a 95hp, 1.5-litre diesel without any battery-electric tech. Nexa dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 95,000 for the remaining stocks of the 1.3-litre diesel models. The Ciaz 1.5 diesel gets discounts of up to Rs 65,000, while the 1.5 petrol-manual and petrol-automatic variants get discounts going up to Rs 50,000. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki is also offering a 5-year extended warranty on all Ciaz variants, effective September 1, 2019.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Save up to Rs 75,000
The funky-looking premium hatchback from Maruti is available with discounts and benefits of around Rs 75,000 at most locations. The Ignis is powered by an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol motor that comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission.
