The Skoda Vision 7S concept was teased in production spec for the first time, revealing some of its design elements. The all-new seven-seat electric Skoda SUV will go into production next year in international markets.

Tech Deck face gets individual lights

T-shape tail-lights look very similar to the ones in the Vision 7S concept.

As per the teaser images, the production model will come with concept-like LED headlight clusters and tail-lights, both of which form a T shape. Its Tech Deck face with an enclosed grille also features individual lights on the upper edge, and thin wing mirrors with cameras have been replaced by traditional ones. The rear profile does not sway a lot from the concept either, with a split design for the spoiler, bulging-out side body panels and a flat roofline. We could also spot the new ‘SKODA’ letter mark finished in black on the tailgate.

The 2022 Vision 7S concept previewed many firsts for Skoda, including its new logo and the Modern Solid design language, something we have seen in the all-electric Elroq SUV sold abroad.

89kWh battery; over 600km range

The electric SUV will likely sit on the modular MEB platform, which underpins all Skoda EVs. Reportedly, the Skoda Kodiaq EV equivalent will stretch the tape to 4,760mm. An 89kWh battery pack with over 600km of range is confirmed. The Vision 7S’s battery will also support fast charging speeds of up to 200kW.

2027 launch confirmed

In February, Skoda India brand director Petr Janeba confirmed that the Vision 7S India launch will happen in 2027. His comment came after Skoda showcased the Vision 7S concept at the Auto Expo in January 2025. With this new EV offering, Skoda will take on the likes of the Kia EV9 SUV.
