Prices for the MG Cyberster will finally be revealed tomorrow – July 25, 2025. MG India had showcased the Cyberster at Auto Expo 2025 and the launch was expected soon after. The convertible will be the second model to retail from the brand’s more premium MG Select showrooms, after the recently launched e-MPV, the M9. The Cyberster EV for India is expected with a 77kWh battery and in AWD specification.

The Cyberster showcased at Auto Expo 2025 was the range-topping AWD version, and this is the model that's expected to launch tomorrow. The all-electric convertible is also available in RWD guise with a smaller 64kWh battery pack in select international markets, and this version is said to be under evaluation for India. The dual-motor setup in the AWD produces a combined 510hp and 725Nm, which is good for a claimed 0-100kph time of 3.2 seconds. The Cyberster AWD has a claimed range of 580km on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).

While the final specification will be revealed tomorrow, the Cyberster is expected to launch with the list of features seen on the Auto Expo model – a 10.25-inch driver’s display flanked by two 7-inch screens and a 7-inch vertically oriented touchscreen next to the drive selector, below which sits the convertible’s fabric roof control mechanism. Other feature highlights expected include the touch-based automatic AC, a Bose sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree parking camera, adaptive cruise control and a Level 2 ADAS suite. Ex-showroom price for the MG Cyberster is expected in the Rs 70 lakh region as it will be brought in as a full import. Due to its nature as an all-electric convertible, the Cyberster sits in a niche and has no direct rivals. However, the top-spec 530hp BYD Seal Performance (Rs 53.15 lakh) will offer comparable performance, while other convertibles on sale in India include the 340hp BMW Z4 (Rs 92.90 lakh), the 258hp Mercedes CLE Cabriolet (Rs 1.15 crore), and the 476hp Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster (Rs 2.47 crore).
