The latest spy shots show camouflage concentrated around the front and rear bumpers, suggesting that the Brezza facelift will receive mild styling revisions rather than a major redesign.

Up front, the SUV appears to feature a revised grille design, while the headlamp units seem largely unchanged from the current model. The front bumper looks refreshed as well, with reshaped fog-lamp housings and a thicker silver faux skid-plate element. There also appears to be a radar housing in the middle of the grille, hinting at the possibility of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

At the rear, the Brezza facelift could get mildly revised bumper detailing, although most of the updates remain hidden under camouflage. The test mule is also seen riding on a new alloy wheel design, likely 16-inch units.

The previous spy shots also revealed a new 6-speed manual gearbox. The Brezza facelift is also expected to receive a revised dashboard layout with a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, replacing the current model’s 9-inch unit. The new screen could be similar to the one seen on the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The cabin is also likely to receive new trims and features, along with a fresh colour scheme.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift: Powertrain updates

The updated Brezza could receive the brand’s 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, currently offered on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, paired with the new 6-speed manual gearbox seen in the earlier spy shots. As of now, the Brezza is the only compact SUV in its segment without a turbo-petrol engine option.

A smaller turbo-petrol engine would also allow select Brezza variants to qualify for the lower 18 percent GST bracket applicable to sub-4-metre petrol cars with engines below 1.2 litres. The current model, powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, attracts 40 percent GST.

Maruti Suzuki is also expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and CNG-powered variants with the facelift. Earlier reports had indicated that the CNG versions could adopt an underbody tank layout, improving usable boot space.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift: Launch timeline

The Brezza facelift is expected to arrive in the festive season later this year or sometime in 2027. Prices are likely to increase slightly over the current model, which is priced between Rs 8.26 lakh and Rs 12.86 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Brezza will continue to rival the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros.
