Six months after our report on the development of the Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG first surfaced, a test mule has been spied on public roads. The spotting comes just days before the car’s official debut on October 15, 2026, giving us a first look at some of its design details. Currently, the segment’s only other CNG offerings include the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Nexon.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG spied: Exterior design details
The exterior holds few tells to set it apart from the non-CNG variants
The test mule spotted was almost entirely undisguised, as seen in these spy images. However, they mainly show us the rear of the XUV 3XO CNG. A few design elements shared with the non-CNG variants of the XUV 3XO include the ‘XUV 3XO’ branding, roof rails, rear spoiler, connected tail-lamps, and the chunky black bumper with a silver skid plate and static reflectors. What's new here, though, is the ‘CNG’ sticker on the rear windscreen.
