Honda will introduce a refreshed WR-V in the Indian market sometime next month. The new WR-V will come with BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine options in the form of a 1.5-litre diesel good for 100hp and a 1.2-litre petrol that delivers 90hp. Both engines are expected to continue with a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is still no news on the highly sought after automatic variant.

The updated WR-V will get an all-new front bumper that gets more pronounced creases and slightly less black cladding at the bottom. However, the fog lamp surrounds do get black inserts. The grille also features multiple horizontal slats instead of the honeycomb pattern seen on the previous model and there's a new faux skid plate as well. There are no major changes expected to the car's sides or the rear.

The refreshed WR-V is expected to get minor tweaks to the interior with revised seat fabric patterns and some add-on features.

The WR-V crossover is Honda's answer to multiple compact SUVs on sale in India like the updated Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue and Ford’s EcoSport.

While the next-gen City will be unveiled later this month, Honda WR-V prices will be announced shortly after, in April 2020.
