I am planning to buy a Royal Enfield motorcycle and am considering the Hunter 350. My daily commute will be around 35km to 40km, along with one or two long trips each year. I will also use the bike for family errands, including riding with my parents. Please advise if the Hunter 350 would be suitable for my requirements.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a functionally sorted, well-priced and good-looking machine, so if you've got your heart set on it, you can go ahead with your purchase. It is good to use inside the city thanks to its plush suspension, upright and neutral ergonomics and torquey, smooth engine. Out on the highway, as long as you're not crossing the triple-digit threshold, the Hunter will make for a relaxed mile munching partner.
Pillion comfort is the one area where the Hunter isn't as great as its larger siblings - owing to its physically smaller size. We would recommend you visit the showroom for a test ride to gauge this matter for yourself with your parents in tow.

I bought a Honda SP in August 2024 and have ridden it for around 5,800km. However, I am not satisfied with its power and pickup, especially compared to my older CB Shine, which I still there. While purchasing the SP, I had considered the TVS Raider, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Yamaha FZ and TVS Ronin. However, I selected the wrong model, and now I want to buy the Hunter 350 or TVS Raider or Yamaha FZ. I am now looking for a bike that offers better looks, power, pickup and road presence, and am confused between the Hunter and the other options, as Hunter offers more status. I am also considering selling my current bike, which is in mint condition with all free services completed. Please advise on the best course of action and what would be a reasonable resale price.
Since you have mentioned you want more performance than your current bike, you should look at the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin, as the Yamaha FZ will only offer you a very small step up in terms of sheer speed, although it will offer you vastly more fuel efficiency in the process.
Take a test ride of the Hunter and Ronin before you decide to go ahead with your purchase.
Coming to what price you should sell your bike for, there are a lot of regional factors that come into play, as well as the market rate of your machine. We would recommend speaking to a pre-owned bike dealer in addition to putting some feelers out in the market in your individual capacity to get an accurate picture.

I previously owned a Hero Karizma R and later switched to a Honda Shine 125. I am now considering buying a cruiser-style motorcycle. I am 5โ4โ tall, and my riding is mostly bumper-to-bumper city traffic. Please suggest suitable options that I should test ride.
Since you have mentioned you want a cruiser style bike to ride in the city and keeping your stature in mind, your choices boil down to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and its sibling, the Goan Classic 350.
Both of these Royal Enfield bikes have low seat heights, which should help you plant your feet on the ground and aid confidence when negotiating stop-and-go traffic. Do bear in mind that these bikes with their feet forward and relaxed riding positions will put a lot of weight on your tailbone and transfer road bumps to your spine, so its worth taking a test ride to see whether or not you can live with this sort of position daily.

I currently own a 2009 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 and am looking to upgrade. I am unsure about the Super Meteor 650 due to its stiff suspension, low mileage and my past experience with Royal Enfield. I frequently ride with a pillion on long journeys across rural India and value comfort and value for money. All Royal Enfield options donโt entice me, but if you suggest one, I can think of it. I prefer a cruiser stance, but the Kawasaki Eliminator feels too low for me. I am 5โ10โ. Please advise.
Considering you ride a lot with a pillion and in rural areas, where roads can suddenly disappear without warning, an adventure bike will suit your needs better than a cruiser. Under the Rs 3 lakh mark, you have the very capable TVS Apache RTX 300, and if you are willing to stretch your budget to Rs 4 lakh, then the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure X are our recommendations.
If, however, you are determined to stick to a roadster/cruiser, then your best bets would be the Royal Enfield Classic / Bullet 350 and the Honda CB350 trio. These bikes will be available under Rs 3 lakh (on-road).
Take a test ride of these bikes with a pillion onboard to understand which one serves you best.

I am looking for a lightweight motorcycle under a Rs 2 lakh budget for short weekend rides to nearby destinations. I like the Yamaha XSR155. Is it suitable for two riders in terms of rear seat comfort, or should I consider other options?
The Yamaha XSR155 has many strengths, like great fuel efficiency, engaging handling and performance from its R15-derived underpinnings and its clean, neo-retro design. However, its stiff suspension will be far from ideal over bad patches of road, resulting in discomfort for your back. It is also a rather small bike physically, which means two-up riding won't be comfortable for long durations, unless you are both smaller people.
Therefore, we would advise you to look at alternatives like the TVS Ronin or Royal Enfield Hunter 350, both of which are more spacious and have better suspension comfort than the XSR. A test ride of both two-up should help you decide which is best for you.

Hi, I am looking for a bike I can ride for occasional long drives as well as city riding. Iโm 44 years old and want to start my passion for long drives. Iโm considering bikes like Hunter 350 and Honda 350 but also want something with good mileage. Iโm 5'5" and the Yamaha XSR 155 looks good with a retro feel and lower cost. Please suggest.
The Yamaha XSR155 will make for a welcoming partner for someone who wants to start riding long distances. It has excellent fuel economy, engaging performance and is also quite lightweight. Do bear in mind that over bad roads, your back will hurt after a while because of its stiff rear suspension.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a more relaxed machine than the XSR in terms of its performance and handling on account of being heavier and being powered by a soulful yet simple air-cooled engine. The Hunter will be more comfortable than the XSR, but it will also return lower fuel economy.
Another option to consider if you're looking at these two bikes is the TVS Ronin.
To make an informed decision, take a test ride of all three bikes before you decide.

I want to buy a good motorcycle under โน2.5 lakh. Should I go for the Triumph Speed T4, or should I consider other options?
The Triumph Speed T4 is a great bike in its class and one you should certainly consider. In a few months, Bajaj will be downsizing all the 400cc Triumphs to 350cc in order to benefit from the new GST 2.0 structure, and it remains to be seen how the T4 fits into this new lineup.
Similar bikes to the Speed T4 are the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Honda CB350 models, although their simpler, air-cooled engines offer significantly lower performance but have a deeper, thumpier exhaust note and more laidback character. This could be a good thing depending on the sort of experience you're after, so take a test ride of these bikes before you decide.

Iโm 5โฒโฏ5โณ, aged 47. I owned a Splendor for 10 years and a Honda Twister for 10 years and sold both. For the past 8 years I have been riding a TVS Scooty. I am planning to buy a bike under โน2โฏlakh. I prefer long rides over city commutes and plan to do a lot of interstate travel. My requirements are comfortable ergonomics that are easy on my spine, reliability, light weight, and decent mileage. Please suggest.
Consider your usage and budget, bikes like the TVS Ronin and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be options we recommend you take a look at. Both are smooth and comfortable machines with neutral riders' triangles, which will be conducive to long stints in the saddle.
You can even take a look at the Hero Xpulse 210 if you want a dual-purpose machine. It will be the most comfortable and capable of the three bikes we've suggested here.
However, it is also the tallest, so if you are a shorter rider who isn't comfortable with tall bikes, then this may not be the best bet for you.
Take a test ride of everything you shortlist before you make a decision.

I am 58 years old and 5โฒ5โณ tall, and I have been riding motorcycles for the last 35 years, all of which were 100โ125 cc. I want to continue riding just for the fun of it. Which bike should I select? I am looking for something in the 350 cc range.
In the 350cc category, bikes like the Royal Enfield Hunter / Bullet / Classic 350, Honda CB350 trio and TVS Ronin - which is smaller but has comparable performance - are our top picks. Pick the one you like the look and riding experience of the most because all bikes are proven machines that will last you a long time.

Hello Team! I commute daily to the office, around 30km round trip. My route includes a few rough patches and disjoints on flyovers. I currently ride a Meteor 350, but I am struggling with it as the rear suspension is absolutely pathetic. I am not planning to sell it due to personal attachment. I am now looking for a second, lightweight motorcycle in the โน1.5-2 lakh range, which will be my primary commuter and used occasionally for single-day rides. Smooth gearshifts are a priority, along with excellent suspension, as I have started experiencing back pain. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and weigh 75kg. I shortlisted the Xpulse 210 but dropped it due to concerns around quality issues and tube tyres. I really like the RTX 300, but it is out of my budget. I also like the CB300F Flex Fuel, but have heard that the rear suspension is stiff. The same concern applies to the Gixxer twins and the RTR 200. So, please assist me. At the moment, I am confused between the Hero Xtreme 160R Combat Edition and the Pulsar N160. I really liked the overall feel and sound of the N160. The Hero sales and test ride experience was not great, although the bike itself felt good. I also like the TVS Ronin, but did not find it as comfortable as the other two. Please help me decide.
Between the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar N160 - both of which are great options to begin with - we would recommend you go with the Pulsar. That's because for a taller person like yourself, the Pulsar's roomier ergonomics will make for a better companion over your long commute and other rides you venture out on.
We would also recommend you take a test ride of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 because, since it was updated recently, its ride quality has seen a considerable improvement, and it will fit within your budget.
