The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 range uses a 124.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 12hp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 7,000rpm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Standard and LED BT variants do not get ABS, while the LED BT ABS adds single-channel ABS with three ABS modes. All variants use a front disc brake and rear drum brake, although the top variant gets a larger 260mm front disc compared with the 240mm unit on the lower trims.
All three variants share the same engine, transmission and basic chassis package, so their performance should be similar. The Standard uses a digi-analogue instrument console and halogen lighting, while the LED BT and LED BT ABS get a fully digital Bluetooth-enabled console and LED lighting. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 144 kg and a seat height of 805mm, figures buyers should consider when manoeuvring it in traffic or parking it.
The Pulsar NS125 uses a perimeter frame, telescopic front fork and rear monoshock suspension. Its 17-inch alloy wheels run tubeless tyres, with an 80/100-section front tyre and a 100/90-section rear tyre. A 12-litre fuel tank completes a specification package that combines sporty styling with everyday commuting capability.
