A video posted online shows the updated TVS Raider 125 equipped with front and rear disc brakes and single-channel ABS. Since its launch in 2021, the Raider has been a strong performer for TVS, and these updates, while expected given that ABS will become mandatory from January 2026, arrive right in time for the festive season, when sales usually rise.
- Updated Raider 125 to have single-channel ABS
- No mechanical changes expected
Updated TVS Raider 125 details
Appears to be based on the mid-spec iGo variant
TVS also seems to have revised the tyre sizes, as the bike seen was shod with 90/90-17 front and 110/80-17 rear tyres, wider units than the 80/100-17 and 100/90-17 units currently offered.

Mechanically, the Raider is expected to continue with its 124.8cc single-cylinder engine, making 11.4hp and 11.2Nm of torque.
With the addition of single-channel ABS, the Raider 125 will join the likes of the Honda CB125 Hornet, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and Hero Xtreme 125R in offering the safety feature in this segment. However, unlike its rivals, all of which rely on a rear drum brake, the Raider will become the only 125cc bike to offer a rear disc brake.
