The launch of the new J-series Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has been a long time coming and is a little over a week away. In the build-up to the launch, a leaked document has surfaced online which gives away a few key details about the revamped Bullet.

    1. Will be offered in three variants
    2. Single-piece seat, more square-ish rear fender, new taillight
    3. Likely to be very similar mechanically to Classic 350

Currently, the outgoing Bullet is being offered in two variants – standard and Electric Start. However, the revamped Bullet will get three variants to choose from – with only the base variant getting single-channel ABS while the higher variants get dual-channel ABS. Cosmetically, these will be differentiated via unique design touches such as different finishes on the engine and other mechanical components as well as differing paint schemes.

Considering that the Bullet is heavily based on the Classic 350, expect it to get the same switchgear and instrumentation, although it remains to be seen if the Tripper navigation pod is carried forward. Mechanically, expect the charming and refined air-cooled, 349cc, single-cylinder mill to make the same 20.2hp/27Nm peak output figures here as it does on all the other J-series bikes. And as with all other RE models, expect a vast array of official accessories to be part of the package.
