TVS Jupiter 110 price in India, OBD-2B compliance, mileage

As the April 1 deadline for meeting the latest OBD2B emission norms draws closer, more manufacturers are making their products compliant with the standard. TVS has announced that the Jupiter 110 scooter is now compliant with these latest standards and that the rest of its portfolio will also be so by the end of this month.

  1. TVS Jupiter 110 was recently overhauled
  2. Raider, Apache, NTorq and other TVS models will follow suit
  3. The deadline for meeting OBD2B norms is April 1

The Jupiter 110 is TVS’ bestseller and the second top-selling scooter in the country, behind the massively popular Honda Activa. TVS recently gave the Jupiter 110 a complete overhaul, bringing it more in line with the bigger Jupiter 125. Also, the Jupiter 110 now comes with an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator), which enables a small electric boost while accelerating. This feature first debuted on 125cc Yamaha scooters and is now seen on the FZ-S commuter as well.

TVS claims that its OBD2B-compliant range of vehicles has gone through significant upgrades in sensor technology and on-board capability to meet the stricter norms. The TVS Jupiter is available in four variants and is priced between Rs 76,691 and Rs 89,791 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The other manufacturer that has made almost all of its commuter bike and scooter line-ups compliant with the latest norms is Honda.
