Honda has updated the Shine 125 to meet the latest OBD2B norms, bringing enhanced features to its popular commuter bike. The Honda Shine 125 has two variants: Drum (Rs 84,493) and Disc (Rs 89,245).

  1. The engine is now OBD2B-compliant, makes the same output
  2. The Shine 125 now has a fully digital dash, gets a new colour

The Shine 125’s 123.94cc engine has now been updated to meet the latest OBD2B norms and it continues to produce the same 14.9hp and 11Nm.

For 2025, the Honda Shine 125 also comes with a fully digital dash, replacing the previous digi-analogue unit. This update adds features like a real-time mileage indicator and a distance-to-empty display. It also retains the service due indicator and side stand engine cut-off features from the outgoing model. Additionally, it now has a USB tType-C port located near the dash.

Another notable change is that the rear tyre has now grown to a wider 90-section unit, replacing the previous 80-section tyre. Along with this update, the Honda Shine 125 offers a new colour option, adding to the five previously available choices. The bike continues to be available in two variants – Drum and Disc.

The price of the Shine 125 has seen an increase, with the Drum variant rising by Rs 1,242, bringing the starting price to Rs 84,493. Meanwhile, the higher Disc variant has seen a price hike of Rs 1,994, now priced at Rs 89,245.
