Hero Xoom deliveries begin in Mumbai

Hero MotoCorp has commenced deliveries of its latest 110cc scooter, the Xoom, in Mumbai. The first scooter was delivered at FortPoint Automotive, located in Mahim.  

Hero Xoom 110cc scooter: details

The Hero Xoom is the company’s attempt at taking on the well-established Honda Dio, head on. It boasts of a fresh design and it looks unlike any other scooter we’ve seen from Hero in the past. The Hero Xoom is powered by a 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 8.1hp at 7,250rpm and 8.7Nm of torque at 5,750rpm. 

The scooter is available in three trims – LX, VX and ZX. They differ in terms of features and tyre sizes, with the VX and ZX trims getting a fatter rear tyre. Also, the ZX variant is the only one to get a disc brake at the front. 

Introductory prices for the Xoom begin at Rs 72,349 for the LX variant, while the VX and ZX are priced at Rs 75,499 and Rs 80,499, respectively.
