Ather expands with over 700 Experience Centres across India

Ather has announced that it now has over 700 Experience Centres (ECs) across India, marking a significant expansion of its retail footprint. The company has added over 350 new ECs in the past year, effectively doubling its network from 351 centres as of March 31, 2025.

3. Ather claims its retail expansion has been strategically focused on Middle India

Ather expands Experience Centres

As of March 2026, Ather holds an 18.7 percent of EV market share

Notably, this milestone comes shortly after Ather crossed 500 service stations, highlighting a rapid scale-up of both its sales and after-sales networks.

The brand says this expansion has played a key role in improving accessibility and enabling Ather to scale across both existing and new markets. Over the past year, the wider retail reach has helped the company achieve 18.7 percent share of India’s e-two-wheeler (e2W) market in March 2026, making it the third-largest player, according to Vahan data.

Ather says growth has been driven in large part by the success of the Rizta, which has sold over 2.80 lakh units since its launch. Alongside this, continued demand for the Ather 450 performance series has supported consistent growth across regions.

In FY26, Ather claims its retail expansion has been strategically focused on Middle India and the Rest of India, enabling faster scale-up and driving gains in market share across these regions. At the same time, the company has continued to strengthen its presence in South India while expanding further into tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
