Mercedes-Benz has pulled the wraps off the third-generation GLA, the carmaker's smallest SUV. The new GLA measures 4,565mm in length, 1,873mm in width, 1,604mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,790, making it larger than the prior model in almost every dimension. Since the third-gen GLA is based on Mercedes' MMA platform, it will be the SUV's first generation to get an all-electric derivative. The GLA EV will be offered with 58kWh LFP and 85kWh NMC battery options, with RWD and AWD layouts. An ICE version of the third-gen GLA will arrive in 2027 and offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 48V mild hybrid system and an electrified 8-speed DCT.
