Tekton’s styling takes inspiration from Nissan’s Patrol flagship, especially at the front.

C-shaped front lights and bumper trim, plus the grille elements are reminiscent of the Patrol.

Gets bold ‘TEKTON’ lettering on the bonnet.

While the Patrol inspiration is visible, the headlamp design isn’t too different to the Duster’s.

Gets metallic trim on the front doors; ‘T280’ badging reserved for the top variant.

Overall stance and silhouette similar to the Duster; different design for the 18-inch wheels.

Rear also gets ‘TEKTON’ branding; two-tone bumper looks busy with multiple design elements.

Nissan claims a boot capacity of 518 litres, which is identical to the Duster.

Colours include mono-tone and dual-tone options.

Nissan has launched the Tekton, which comes in as the closest alternative to the Renault Duster. The Japanese automaker claims that the name has been inspired by tectonic plates of the Himalayas. Customer bookings for this midsize SUV are underway, with deliveries commencing on July 20, 2026. The Nissan Tekton is being offered in six trim levels spread across 12 variants and 11 colour options. Understandably, the Tekton and Duster share the same CMF-B platform and turbo-petrol powertrain options.
