The Suzuki Burgman has been around for quite some time. It kickstarted the pseudo maxi-scooter format in India. It has been received very well in our markets, due to its spacious seat and road presence compared to conventional scooters.

What are the Suzuki Burgman variants?

The Suzuki Burgman is largely divided into two variants: Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX. The main difference between the two is down to the latter getting a larger 12-inch wheel at the rear and weighing 1kg more (111kg); the Street model gets 10 inchers.

The Street model is further divided into two sub-variants – Standard Edition and Ride Connect, where the latter gets a Bluetooth-enabled LCD dash.

What is the price of the Suzuki Burgman?

The Suzuki Burgman Street is priced between Rs 96,399 and Rs 1.01 lakh. The higher-spec Burgman EX is priced at Rs 1.18 lakh.

How fuel-efficient is the Burgman Street EX?

The last time we tested the Burgman Street EX in 2023, it returned a real-world fuel-efficiency figure of 62.6kpl on the highway, which dropped slightly to 60kpl in the city.

What are the colours available with the Burgman Street?

Does the Suzuki Burgman get an auto-start stop system?

Yes, in addition to silent-start, an auto-start stop system is also available with the Burgman. This essentially turns off the engine when the vehicle comes to a standstill. However, this feature is only available on the more-expensive Street EX variant.
