Positioned as a value-focused alternative in a segment dominated by the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter, the Destini 110 is simple, affordable, and built with comfort in mind. If you're considering the Destini 110, here's what works in its favour and a couple of reasons it might not be the best option.

Reasons to buy the Hero Destini 110

Excellent ride comfort

The suspension setup on the Destini 110 is really well tuned for Indian road conditions and is able to take on bad roads, potholes and speedbreakers in a very plush manner. Paired with the well-padded seat, it provides a really comfortable riding experience, and this is one of the scooter's biggest strengths. It is also confidence-inspiring, even with the constantly changing nature of our roads, and you really don't have to worry about slowing down for unexpected potholes. The tyres offer good grip in the dry, and the Destini 110 feels planted and stable in most situations, giving a rider good confidence.

Impressive fuel efficiency

In our tests, the Destini 110 achieved 54.2kpl in the city with gentle riding and an impressive 64.1kpl on the highway while maintaining 65-70kph. The scooter also features a live average fuel efficiency indicator on its instrument cluster, allowing riders to extract the best mileage. These figures make it quite fuel-efficient for its segment, though mileage will vary depending on riding style and conditions.

Affordable pricing that undercuts key rivals

The Destini 110 is priced at Rs 72,000 for the base VX variant and Rs 79,750 for the top-spec ZX variant. This makes it around Rs 10,000 more affordable than the top variant of the Activa and Rs 7,000 less than the top-spec variant of the Jupiter. Overall, what the Destini 110 has going for it is good mileage, great comfort and a price that undercuts its main rivals.

Reasons to skip the Hero Destini 110

Below-par fit and finish

The Destini 110 feels built to a cost, and its overall finish quality and attention to detail can stand to improve. It doesn't match its top rivals in this category, and while it makes use of metal panels on the side and front mudguard, the feel is clearly that it was designed to undercut rivals on price. That's perfectly fine given its target audience, but those expecting Activa or Jupiter-level build quality might find it disappointing.

Misses out on Bluetooth connectivity

The Destini 110 keeps things simple with a digi-analogue instrument cluster that displays a trip meter, odometer and real-time fuel efficiency alongside the analogue speedometer. However, it misses out on Bluetooth connectivity, which might be a deal breaker for some users who want features like turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts or smartphone connectivity that are increasingly becoming common in this segment.
