BYD eMax 7 variants

BYD has launched the eMax 7 electric MPV in India, which is essentially a heavily updated iteration of the e6 which it replaces. The eMax 7 is available in two variants, namely Premium and Superior. Let’s take a look at what features you get with each variant, and at what price.

BYD eMax 7 variants explained

While the Premium variant gets a 55.4kWh battery pack offering a 420km (NEDC) range, the Superior trim packs a 71.8kWh unit with 530km of range as per the NEDC cycle. The former makes 163hp, going from 0-100kph in 10.1 seconds, while the top-end variant produces 204hp, helping the MPV dash from 0-100kph in 8.6 seconds. Both offer the same 310Nm of peak torque. Moreover, both the Premium and Superior variants are available with a choice between 6- or a 7-seat configuration.
