BYD eMax 7 specifications

The BYD eMax 7 comes in two variants—Premium and Superior. The Premium makes 163hp with a 55.4kWh battery offering 420km range (NEDC), while the Superior delivers 204hp with a 71.8kWh battery and 530km range (NEDC). Both BYD electric car variants are front-wheel drive and have a top speed of 180kph.

The BYD eMax 7 Premium offers a claimed 420km range, while the top-end Superior has a larger 71.8kWh battery with a claimed 530km range, both as per NEDC. Real-world figures may vary based on driving conditions and usage.

Both variants of the BYD eMax 7 come with a standard 7kW AC charger. The Premium supports up to 89kW DC fast charging, while the Superior can charge up to 115kW, taking it from 0 to 80% in just 37 minutes.

The BYD eMax 7 measures 4,710mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,690mm in height, with a 2,800mm wheelbase. Boot space is 180 litres with all seats up and 580 litres with the third row folded.

This BYD EV is available in both 6 and 7-seater configurations. 

The BYD eMax 7 comes with 6 airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS with features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, and emergency braking.

The eMax 7 offers a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, two wireless phone chargers, a 6-speaker audio system, a panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, and USB ports across all three rows.
