5. Tata Tigor
Price: From Rs 7.32 lakh.
The Tata Tigor's top three variants – XZ+, XZA+ and XZ+ Lux – get cruise control. It is the most affordable sedan in India with this feature, and is priced from Rs 7.32 lakh onwards. The Tigor compact sedan is on sale with an 86hp 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is also available with a 76hp CNG option; buyers can opt for a 5-speed AMT or a 5-speed MT with both powertrain choices.

The Tata Altroz is the only model in this list to feature a 90hp diesel engine option, alongside an 88hp 1.2-litre petrol engine, and a 74hp CNG option. While the diesel and CNG choices are offered only with a 5-speed manual transmission, the petrol engine is available with a 5-speed AMT and 6-speed DCT options.

Even the most affordable Hyundai in India has cruise control from the mid-spec Sportz trim onwards; priced from Rs 6.84 lakh. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets an 83hp 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 5-speed manual or an AMT. It is also offered with a 69hp CNG option that's mated with a manual transmission in the Sportz trim; however, this is not equipped with cruise control. Interestingly, the Grand i10 Nios Sportz AMT’s Rs 7.36 lakh price tag makes it the most affordable automatic car with cruise control.
