One of the most awaited motorsport events of the year is coming up this weekend with the 93rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It’s considered one of the world’s toughest races for a reason – you have 24 hours of non-stop racing, pushing man and machine to the very limit, and that’s with 70 percent of the lap at full throttle and top speeds reaching 340kph. Ferrari remain the favourite, but can Toyota, BMW or even Alpine dethrone the Prancing Horse this time around?
On the other side of the world, F1 heads to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the Canadian GP. Here’s your complete guide for when and where to tune in from India:
2025 Le Mans schedule
This year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans will see a 62 car-strong grid. Ferrari, Toyota, Alpine, BMW, Cadillac, Porsche, Peugeot and Aston Martin will be battling it out for top honours in the Hypercar class. Ferrari is hunting down its third consecutive Le Mans victory, and the team is certainly a favourite given its dominant run so far in the World Endurance Championship.
But with double points on offer, other teams could spring a surprise. Toyota topped Test Day, with Brendon Hartley putting the No. 8 GR010 Hybrid on top of the timesheet. Alpine, Cadillac and BMW have also shown some impressive form this season.
There’s plenty to look forward to in the LMGT3 class as well. Mercedes will be returning to the historic endurance race for the first time in over 25 years. They’ll be battling it out against cars from BMW (with MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi behind the wheel), McLaren, Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, and others.

Eurosport will broadcast a few hours of the race in India. The live telecast will be from 12am to 5:45am on Sunday (June 15), followed by the race-end and podium ceremony later that day.
However, for those who want to catch all 24 hours of action live, there is the FIA WEC TV live stream. The Le Mans Pass costs 17.99 euros (approximately Rs 1,760) and comes with access to live streaming for all Le Mans sessions, live timings and different onboard cameras.
2025 F1 Canadian GP schedule
The 4.3-km Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has delivered some iconic races in the past, with close concrete walls punishing even the smallest of errors. Following his Spanish GP win, Oscar Piastri heads to the Canadian GP with a 10-point lead over his McLaren teammate Lando Norris in the championship.
It will also be a crucial round for Max Verstappen, who needs a strong points haul if he wants to keep his championship bid alive. Moreover, the Red Bull driver is now just one penalty point away from a race ban. So, it remains to be seen if that will change his approach to racing this weekend.
