Spinny launches industry first 3 year warranty for used cars

Used car portal Spinny has launched an industry-first service as part of its new advertising campaign. Spinny will now offer a 3-year warranty on its used cars, a best-in-industry service among competitors such as Mahindra First Choice, Cars24 and Maruti True Value.

3-year standard warranty, 5-day return guarantee

In a bid to be seen as relatable and trustworthy by those looking to sell their car or buy a used one, Spinny is now offering the aforementioned 3-year standard warranty along with a 5-day money-back guarantee. Other used car portals offer far less in terms of warranty – Maruti True Value provides a 1-year/15,000km warranty on cars less than 4 years old (half that for cars over 4 years old), while Cars24 has a 30-day standard warranty pack with extended warranty programs of up to 1 year.

The ad campaign can also be seen on Mumbai’s double-decker buses.

Mahindra First Choice does not have a standard warranty package, but it offers extended warranty plans for up to a year. However, Cars24 has a 7-day/500km return policy, compared to Spinny’s 5-day one.
