MG Majestor FAQs

The Majestor is suited for customers looking for a premium three-row SUV, along with having rugged off-roading abilities.

If your drives mainly include paved surfaces, the 4X2 (two-wheel drive) variant will make more sense. Unlike the 4x4 (four-wheel drive) variant, it also offers a 6-seater option. The 4x4 version is for those who plan to go off-road regularly.

The Majestor's ride quality is remarkably good for a ladder-frame SUV. Its soft suspension setup also leads to an absorbent ride.

The interior of the MG Majestor is quite spacious. The third row easily is the most comfortable in its segment.

A spacious, comfortable and feature-rich cabin, and great ride quality are the MG Majestor's X-Factors.

The Majestor is more expensive than rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian and Skoda Kodiaq. However, it is more affordable than the Volkswagen Tayron R Line

A spacious cabin, long feature list, comfortable ride quality and rugged off-road capability make the Majestor a value-for-money proposition.

While MG hasn’t revealed the fuel consumption figures of the Majestor, and we’re also yet to test it, it’s unlikely to be too different to the Gloster. For reference, we recorded a mileage of 8.4kpl (city) and 10.8kpl (highway) with the MG Gloster diesel.

With a 75-litre fuel tank and an expected mileage close to that of the Gloster, the MG Majestor should be capable of covering over 700km on a single tank of diesel.

Calculating a downpayment of Rs 5 lakh, a loan tenure of 5 years and an interest rate of 9 percent, the EMI for the MG Majestor’s base variant comes to Rs 92,375. Note that this figure will change depending on the variant, loan tenure and your banking partner.
