The latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class builds on its long-standing reputation with a design that is evolutionary rather than dramatic. The silhouette remains unmistakably E-Class, with a long bonnet, clean surfacing and restrained detailing. The grille and lighting elements are sharper and more modern, but the overall look stays elegant and mature rather than sporty. Build quality feels solid, and panel fit reflects the E-Class’s position in the luxury executive segment.
Under the skin, the engineering focus continues to be refinement and composure. Suspension tuning prioritises ride comfort and stability, and despite the car’s size, it feels well controlled at speed. The structure feels robust, contributing to confidence on highways and rougher roads alike.

Inside, the E-Class remains one of the most comfortable cabins in the segment. The interior layout is clean and intuitive, dominated by large digital screens that integrate instrumentation and infotainment seamlessly. Material quality is high across the cabin, with soft-touch surfaces, premium leather and tasteful ambient lighting adding to the sense of luxury.

The E450 is naturally less frugal, but for a six-cylinder petrol with mild-hybrid assistance, it remains reasonably efficient in mixed driving. Across the range, the emphasis is on usable efficiency rather than headline figures.

Ride comfort is one of the E-Class’s strongest traits. The suspension absorbs bumps and broken surfaces with ease, and the long wheelbase contributes to excellent stability at speed. Even on uneven roads, the car feels composed and unflustered.
