Maruti Suzuki e Vitara FAQs

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Alpha 61kWh is the best variant to buy in the lineup, offering the most complete package for everyday use. It comes equipped with features like ventilated seats, an Infinity branded sound system, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS and dual digital displays, making it well-equipped for its price in the electric SUV segment. The 61kWh battery also delivers a claimed 543km range, which should translate to over 400km in real-world conditions, making it suitable for both city commuting and occasional highway trips.

The Maruti e Vitara's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme can make financial sense, depending on your usage. While the lower upfront price is appealing, the Rs 3.99/km battery subscription for the 49kWh version can add up for high-mileage users. Calculate your monthly running costs before deciding if BaaS suits your needs.

Hello, I am from Goa and am in the process of buying an EV. I need expert advice to help me choose between the Creta EV-LR, the new Syros EV-ER, and the Maruti e Vitara 61kWh. I had initially shortlisted the Tata Punch EV 40kWh, but for the past 45 days, there have been no EV deliveries at Tata dealerships in Goa. Hence, out of desperation, I have been compelled to consider the above-mentioned options instead of the Punch EV. I would appreciate your response at the earliest.

The Hyundai Creta EV LR would be our recommendation. It offers the most balanced package of the three, with a strong real-world range, a well-sorted driving experience and Hyundai's proven electric car ownership ecosystem. The Maruti e Vitara 61 kWh is a good alternative with a larger battery and Maruti's service reach, but its cabin isn't as roomy and its ride quality isn't as comfy as the Creta EV. The Kia Syros EV ER is also a good option, but this Hyundai car has the edge in terms of overall size and its more conventional design. The Punch EV 40 kWh was a sensible choice, but if Tata's delivery situation in Goa is forcing you to look elsewhere, the Creta EV LR is the most dependable and well-rounded alternative.

I am using MG Hector plus Savvy pro CVT April,2023 model but its mileage is coming down to 7 to 8 on highway due to E 20 fuel, company is also saying that yr vehicle is E 20 compliant and need not worry about engine but during my highway trip to Delhi journey, my car stopped on flyover while running and did not take start, i have to call RSA and car went to service centre by towing. In service centre they told me that while cleaning engine tank white color substance found due to this fuel injection line choked and did not take start due to E 20 petrol. Now I want to switch to EV of either MG windser or TATA punch EV or Maruti E vitara. which is suitable as safety and price wise and range and charging price. My budget is 15 lac.

I am from Delhi, and my daily commute is around 80 km. I am looking for an EV with a budget of around Rs. 17 lakh. I have shortlisted the e Vitara Zeta 61 kWh and the Syros ER HTX 51 kWh. I want a niggle-free ownership experience, at least a 400 km range, a smooth and comfortable ride, and good interior space. I also plan to keep the car for at least 8-10 years. Please suggest which one is the better choice.

The Kia Syros ER HTX 51kWh is the better fit for your requirements. With an 80km daily commute, an electric car makes perfect sense, and the Syros' 51kWh battery is more than capable of comfortably covering your daily usage while delivering a smooth, refined and comfortable driving experience. It also offers a spacious cabin, premium interiors and should feel more modern and sophisticated to live with over the long term. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Zeta 61kWh is also a strong option. Its larger battery gives it an advantage on range and provides more flexibility for longer highway trips. Maruti's extensive service network is another plus if long term ownership is a priority. However, unless you frequently undertake long distance journeys, the additional range isn't something you'll use every day.

Which is better option in electric car between Windsor and e vitara

I own a Ford EcoSport Titanium S 1.5-litre diesel, which has covered 1.32 lakh km. My daily running is around 100 km. I am confused between the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Zeta+ Strong Hybrid, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Zeta and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire ZXi+ AMT. Most of my driving is on highways and rural roads.

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara only makes sense if you have a dependable home charger. Daily 100 km is easy for an EV, and running costs will be significantly lower than those of ICE vehicles. But we'd suggest you pick the Grand Vitara Zeta+ strong hybrid. With 100 km a day on highway and rural roads, it will cut fuel bills the most without charging worries, and the SUV's height and suspension handle broken patches well. Performance is quite zippy thanks to the electric motor's instant torque, and you will still see 20-plus kpl if you drive at steady speeds. The Dzire ZXi+ AMT is significantly cheaper to buy and quite efficient. Performance on the highway will seem quite dull, especially since you're coming from an Ecosport diesel.
