The exterior design of the Mahindra Thar car is simple and purposeful. The new Thar comes with a body coloured grille and a dual-tone bumper at the front. 18-inch wheels and chunky tyres give it the requisite butch look, as do its prominent wheel arches. At the rear, there is a split tailgate that opens in two parts, and the rear view camera is housed inside the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
