Mahindra Thar facelift FAQs
Sources suggest that the Mahindra Thar facelift will launch on September 22, 2026, in India.
Spy shots of the Mahindra Thar facelift have hinted at a redesigned grille, LED projector headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs, and taillights, all of which seem to be borrowed from the Thar Roxx. The facelifted Thar will also get redesigned alloy wheels.
The current Mahindra Thar misses out on features like a sunroof, powered and ventilated seats, a wireless phone charger and a 360-degree camera, all of which have become common in modern-day cars that have a similar price to the Thar. Mahindra might add some of the mentioned missing features to make the Thar more modern with the faelift.
The Mahindra Thar is expected to continue with the same engine options: a 152hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 119hp 1.5-litre diesel, and a 132hp 2.2-litre diesel. The transmission and drivetrain setup is also expected to be like the current Thar.
The Mahindra Thar facelift is expected to be priced from ₹11.00 lakh to ₹18.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
