Mahindra Scorpio N price in Chikkaballapur
The on-road price of the Mahindra Scorpio N in Chikkaballapur is higher than the ex-showroom price we quote at launch. RTO registration, insurance and other charges add to this cost, and the amount changes from city to city. The base model, Z2 Petrol MT, costs 13.69 lakh ex-showroom in Chikkaballapur. With RTO and insurance added, the on-road price is 16.84 lakh.

Planning to buy Scorpio N? Here are a few dealers in Chikkaballapur
B B Road, Old Nh 7, Cmc Layout, Chikkaballapur, Karnataka 562101

The Scorpio N Z6 2.2 Diesel MT is the most value for money variant of the line-up, offering all the essential features, along with a diesel engine
Considering a 10 percent down payment and a loan tenure of 7 years, the Mahindra Scorpio N's EMI starts at Rs 23,007.
I need an automatic SUV that can handle light snow and slushy conditions. I am confused between the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L 4WD and Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 T AWD. The vehicle will be used 90% on highways, with the remaining 10% involving trips to hilly areas in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and similar regions. It will not be used in extreme off-road conditions.
Go for the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 T AWD. Your usage is 90% highway with occasional hill trips in Uttarakhand and Himachal, and not extreme off-road conditions. The XUV 7XO is the better fit because it is a more comfortable and refined highway cruiser, and the AWD system will give you the extra traction you need in snow and slush without compromising on-road comfort. The Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L 4WD is a more rugged, body-on-frame SUV and better suited to tougher off-road conditions, but it is not as comfortable or as refined on long highway drives. The XUV 7XO also has a more modern cabin, better ride quality and a more premium overall ownership experience. For your usage pattern, the XUV 7XO AX7 T AWD is the more balanced and sensible choice.
Hello Autocar India team, I live in banglore. I currently own Hyundai Creta SX (O) 1.6 CRDI Diesel AT 2016 model. I want to upgrade my car because of the 10-year diesel vehicles rule. Most of my running is on highway so I am looking for automatic diesel 7-seater SUV for family. My bugdet is between Rs. 20 - 40 lakh. Initially, I had considered the Tata Safari Diesel AT, but I have listened on social media poor about Tata after-sales service, technical and electronic Issues, as well as panel gaps issues that are concerning me. Now, I have shortlisted Toyota Fortuner Diesel AT, Mahindra Scorpio N Diesel AT and Mahindra XUV 7XO Diesel AT. Which SUV is better for my requirements? Also, will I have to face DPF-related issues in new diesel cars if we drive slowly?
Go for the Mahindra XUV 7XO Diesel AT. It is the best fit for your requirements. The XUV 7XO offers a strong 2.0 diesel engine, a comfortable ride, a spacious and well-appointed cabin, and a good balance between performance and practicality. It is also significantly more modern and feature-rich than the Scorpio N, while being far better value than the Fortuner. The Fortuner is a great highway SUV with a proven reliability record, but it is now showing its age, and at Rs 40 lakh-plus it is simply too expensive for what it offers. The Scorpio N is rugged and capable, but it is not as refined or as family-friendly as the XUV 7XO. The XUV 7XO is the most complete package for your needs. On the DPF question: modern diesel cars are generally fine as long as you do regular highway runs. The DPF regenerates naturally at sustained speeds. The issues tend to arise only with predominantly short, low-speed city driving. Your usage pattern is highway-heavy, so you should not have any problems.
It's been 3 years with my Scorpio N now, and I still get stopped by strangers asking about it. Wasn't expecting that when I bought it.
I want to purchase a 7-seater SUV. My options are the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, and Scorpio N, and I am considering installing an aftermarket CNG kit for better fuel economy. Could you please suggest which one would be better suited for CNG?
We would strongly advise against installing aftermarket CNG on any of these SUVs. All three – the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO and Scorpio N - are large, heavy vehicles with powerful turbocharged petrol engines. Fitting CNG to such engines is not recommended, as it can lead to drivability issues, increased wear and potential reliability concerns over time. More importantly, these SUVs are not designed with CNG in mind, and the installation can compromise safety and performance. If fuel economy is a top priority, opt for their diesel versions instead. The Mahindra and Tata offer strong torque, excellent highway efficiency and are well-suited to long-distance touring. If you are set on CNG, it is better to look at smaller, naturally aspirated petrol cars that are either factory-fitted or specifically designed for CNG use.Between the three, the XUV 7XO diesel would be our recommendation. It offers a more modern package, better ride comfort and a more premium cabin than the Scorpio N, while the Safari diesel is also a strong contender if you prefer Tata's design and feature set. But CNG should not be the deciding factor here.
I am confused between two cars: Mahindra XUV7XO AX7 Petrol Automatic and Mahindra Scorpio N Z8S Petrol Automatic. I am from Bangalore, and I would use the car on weekends and drive up to 20 km; hence, a monthly usage of 100 km and occasional long trips in a year. So I might have a yearly usage of 3000 km. We are a family of 5, but occasionally we would include our extended family of 7, which is why I wish to buy a 7-seater. I am confused between these two cars. I love the Scorpio for its look and legacy, while I also like the XUV 7XO for its tech features. Which one should I go for?
Go for the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 petrol automatic. With your low annual running of around 3,000km, petrol is the right choice, despite the powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol's heavy thirst. Of the two Mahindras, the XUV 7XO is the more sensible and family-friendly option. This Mahindra car offers a more comfortable ride, a more spacious and usable third row, and a more modern cabin with better tech and features. The Scorpio N is a great SUV with a strong legacy and a rugged appeal, but it is more of an enthusiast's SUV with a tougher ride and a cramped third row. For a family of five with occasional trips with seven people, the XUV 7XO is the better all-rounder and will be the more comfortable and enjoyable car to own over the long term.
