Mahindra has launched the Scorpio N facelift at a starting price of Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV has been updated with a range of feature additions, including a panoramic sunroof, a 540-degree surround-view camera and larger infotainment and instrument displays. The SUV also gets new alloy wheels and additional convenience features while continuing with its existing petrol and diesel powertrains.

Ex-showroom prices range from Rs 13.69 lakh to Rs 25.49 lakh
The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N prices range from Rs 13.69 lakh to Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the outgoing model, the entry-level Z2 petrol manual is Rs 20,000 more expensive, while the range-topping Z8L diesel 4WD automatic now costs Rs 54,000 more.
Though the Scorpio N is the only body-on-frame three-row SUV at this price point, its pricing does overlap with monocoque-based three-row SUVs like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV7XO, MG Hector and Hyundai Alcazar.
2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N: exterior
The Scorpio-N retains its upright, boxy SUV design, characterised by a chrome six-slat grille, dual-barrel LED projector headlamps, C-shaped LED daytime running lamps, vertically stacked LED tail-lamps and a sculpted front bumper finished with a silver skid plate. Squared-off wheel arches, roof rails, side steps and its tall stance continue unchanged, preserving the SUV's rugged appearance. The SUV also continues with sequential LED turn indicators, chrome exterior detailing and is offered in five colours: Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Oceanic, Stealth Black and Deep Forest.
Exterior updates are limited to new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the higher variants, replacing the earlier design. The lower variants, however, continue to offer the same wheel design as before.
2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N: interior and features
The redesigned cabin now gets a 12.3-inch free-floating touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the earlier 8.0-inch unit, while the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the previous semi-digital setup that paired analogue dials with a 7.0-inch colour MID. Mahindra has also added a 65W USB Type-C fast-charging port for the front row.
With the update, Mahindra has also added a panoramic sunroof, a 540-degree surround view camera with blind view monitor, revised switchgear on the centre console and 'Adventure Statistics', which displays information such as engine performance, roll and pitch, compass, altimeter and G-force.
The Scorpio-N continues with features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 'Adrenox' connected car technology with Alexa Built-in, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, electronic parking brake and an auto-dimming IRVM on higher variants. The SUV is offered in both six- and seven-seat layouts.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, hill hold and hill descent control, all-wheel disc brakes, driver drowsiness detection and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. The range-topping Z8L also offers Level-2 ADAS with features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, smart pilot assist and high beam assist.
2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N: engine and gearbox
The Scorpio-N continues with Mahindra's existing petrol and diesel powertrain options. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 203hp and 370Nm with the manual gearbox, while torque increases to 380Nm with the automatic.
The 2.2-litre diesel is available in two states of tune: lower variants produce 132hp and 300Nm, while higher variants develop 175hp and 370Nm with the manual gearbox or 400Nm with the automatic. Buyers can choose between 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmissions.
Rear-wheel drive is standard across the range, while selected diesel variants continue to offer Mahindra's '4XPLOR' four-wheel-drive system with shift-on-fly functionality and terrain modes for Snow, Mud & Ruts and Sand. Diesel variants also continue with Zip, Zap and Zoom drive modes. Mechanically, no changes have been made to the Scorpio-N as part of this update.
