•26wI’m planning to buy the Toyota Innova Hycross soon. With the recent GST rate cuts on larger cars, how much has the price dropped, and is it the right time to book? Or should I look at Scorpio-N instead, since the GST cut benefit might be more beneficial there?

If you are considering the Toyota Innova Hycross, the GST rate cut has lowered prices, though the impact differs across trims. The entry-level G and GX variants are now more affordable by just over ₹1 lakh, while the hybrid range gets a smaller reduction of about ₹60,000 to ₹68,000.
The Mahindra Scorpio N sees a steeper drop under the new GST rates, with prices now ranging from ₹12.6 lakh to ₹24.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra Scorpion N GST rate cut makes the benefit more noticeable compared with the Hycross.
So, if your priority is the Hycross for its space, comfort, and hybrid efficiency, the price cut is a welcome bonus and worth booking now. But if you are cross-shopping, the Scorpio N does gain a stronger value advantage post-GST, especially if budget stretch is a concern.
