The Range Rover Sport in India is offered in petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid guises. Apart from the plug-in hybrid RR Sport, the rest models get a mild hybrid system; automatic transmission and 4WD are standard. The HSE Dynamic variant comes with a 400hp-3-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that takes 5.5 seconds to go from 0-100kph, while the HSE Dynamic diesel’s 350hp-3-litre mill takes 5.8 seconds. The Autobiography PHEV delivers a combined 460hp from a 3-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine paired with a hybrid setup, taking 5.5 seconds to hit the 100kph mark from rest. The non-hybrid Autobiography trim has a 530hp-4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, which reaches the 100kph mark in 4.5 seconds. The top-of-the-line SV Edition Two features the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 setup but makes a higher 635hp and hits 100kph in 3.9 seconds.
